About Stellar Eigo
Stellar Eigo was established to provide high quality English language services to speakers of other languages.
We have two main divisions, providing English language lessons via email, and proofreading, editing and rewriting services to businesses, students and private individuals. Our aim is to promote the use of clear, correct English in every walk of life. We want to help our students and clients to communicate effectively in the English language.
Our prices are competitive, but our standards are of the highest.
English Lessons
There are many private tutors, websites, self-study books and courses which can help you learn English. However, they do not work for all. Courses or lessons may not run at a time appropriate for you. You may feel that the curriculum is inflexible or does not meet your needs. Self-study, on the other hand, requires discipline. You may not be able to ask for explanations when you do not understand. You may have to buy many books or other materials to find the right one for you. You may not get any feedback to tell you how well you are progressing.
Email lessons from Stellar Eigo provide you with the best of both worlds. You have time and attention from your own tutor, with the flexibility of self-study. You can work at a pace which suits you, and can ask for help when you are stuck.

Editorial Services
Stellar Eigo offer editorial services to businesses, students and private individuals. Whatever the length of your text, we can:
- Proofread - checking and correcting simple spelling and grammar errors.
- Edit - if there are a lot of errors or if your text has been machine-translated, we can correct these errors, restore coherent word order etc. Finally we can copy-edit your piece, making the style consistent, and adding for example tables of contents, headings and subheadings, indexes etc.
- Rewrite - also called a heavy edit. This involves not only correcting errors, but altering the structure of the text so it 'flows', forming a logical argument with a clear flow of ideas. Candidates for rewriting may include reports or essays CVs and job/college applications.
