Welcome

It is our challenge to assure that no person harvests any creature from this Earth without fully utilizing the bounties of that harvest. As was true with the American Indians before us, harvest of the Earth's bounty should be made with reverence for the creature taken, and the environment from which it came. It is in keeping with this sentiment, and honorable heritage, that we strive to make full use of all our harvests - as did those who preceeded us. The meat from our harvest sustains us. The skins from our harvests shall serve to keep us warm, or to honor the creature in respectful homage for its gift to us.

Taxidermy is wildlife art that aspires to do this great honor to our Earth's bounty. It is the responsibility of all taxidermists to perform their art to the highest standards possible; bestowing reverence and respect to each creature they have the honor to memorialize. It is equally the responsibility of each person who undertakes this task to continually seek to educate those who do not understand the gifts they take from nature; who take for granted the bounties bestowed upon them, and who do so without honor. For it is these who will, in the end, bring to destruction our precious relationship with this Earth and the gifts we have been graciously given.
